Driftwood Shores Resort, Florence

We chose this hotel for its beautiful ocean views, but were left disappointed by the outdated facilities and lack of cleanliness. While the location right on the beach is a huge plus, the uncomfortable and unkempt rooms made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. Overall, there are some great amenities, but the hotel needs urgent renovations to meet expectations.

I had a fantastic stay at Droftwood Shores, right on the Oregon coast's beautiful sandy beaches. The spacious three-bedroom unit was perfect for my family, with comfortable bedding and a well-equipped kitchen. The heated pool was a hit with the kids, making it a great family-friendly spot. However, the Wi-Fi struggled at times, and the chilly coastal weather caught some tourists off guard, so pack accordingly!

The Driftwood is perfectly situated right on the beach, offering stunning views that truly enhance the experience. While the rooms had some issues, such as cleanliness when we arrived, they were overall comfortable. The service was responsive, quickly addressing our concerns, but the restaurant left much to be desired, with overpriced and disappointing food options. The property is definitely a great place if you value beach access over luxurious dining.

Overall, my stay had its ups and downs. The beach access is fantastic, and the hot tub and pool were enjoyable, but the room itself felt quite dated. While the staff at check-in were friendly, the experience was marred by a noisy neighbor, which made for a less than ideal night.
